It is called Vertical Glass House and it is a four storey building in Shanghai. At first glance it reminiscents of a rectangular box! With provocative architecture, it is the residence of an eccentric man who asked the architect Yung Ho Chang’s to build a house without windows, with glass floors and an open ceiling. So it happened. The house follows Minimal lines, covered externally by special concrete without windows, skylights and some small associations of four floors allow natural light to enter the interior.

The roof is fully transparent, acting as the main light source for your home. Each floor is bearing glass floors so that everything is visible downward and upward from the owner. Even in the bathroom, privacy is completely absent. The house is open to the sky and the earth. This was the idea of the owner. It is excellent to see upward light and transparency is everywhere. Or at least eccentric, says the architect.
