Some are speculating a link between the recent phenomenon of dead birds and fish, found in Louisiana and Arkansas, with the use of toxic dispersant chemicals by BP in the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. It has been less than 6 months since mass amounts of these chemicals were used, time enough for the chemicals to work their way through the environment.
