Minnesota Hosts A Cat Video Film Festival

Internet Cat Video Film Festival In MinnesotaMINNEAPOLIS-For all cat lovers, the first Cat Video Film Festival was held in Minneapolis on Thursday.

Hosted by the Walker Art Center, a modern art institute in Minneapolis, the festival features short Internet videos of cats and their antics. The festival, which received over 10,000 entries, whittled it down to a selection of 70 films totaling around 60 minutes.

Named “Internet Cat Video Film Festival,” the videos were screened outdoors. Viewers were able to vote online for their favorites, and awards such as the “Golden Kitty Award” were handed out to winners and their cats. See the ‘People’s Choice’ award winner below…
