Bringing affordable transportation to everyday people throughout Asia is high on the agenda of big car makers. This guy in Shanghai, China, beat them to it. The car has a very simple design, basically a bunch of wood scraps tied together with wire, four wheels, and a seat that can barely fit one person.

An open frame allows for a nice breeze, so an air conditioner is not required. It even has a headlight.
No word on the gas mileage this things gets.
