When it comes to cutesy and quirky, JapaneseĀ TV ads go where no one hasĀ gone before.

Hi! i love this ad too! but one thing you should know, this ad was a Thai ad for UNIF Green tea that had been broadcasted about 3-4 years ago(and of course it became very popular with the phrase “shi-me-jo-tai shi-me-jo-tai”). Don’t believe me? the voice over at the time that Takeshi guy (the farmer who held the tea leaf) decided to keep the leaf was in Thai language (and also other V/O until the end)
This ad was done in Japanese language (for the caterpilla’s dialogue) b’coz at that time, Japanese culture had a lot of influences over Thai teenagers
